it's so quite at work on friday afternoons.....
it wouldn't be so bad except that a computer in the equipment room around the corner has something wrong with it and keeps beeping.

it's like chinese water torture after awhile. not to mention that it's beeping on my left side - the side that i have that damned ear disease on - which just happens to be acting up at the moment. ARRRRRGGGGGHHH!
i've made numerous calls to try and get someone over here to fix it but to no avail. i hate being a pest about it but it's driving me insane.......
anywho....
hopefully i can survive the next 2.5 hours! then i'm heading straight up to duluth. hopefully i'll make it in time to have some dinner before my mom and i (and hopefully carrie and sarah) go to see 'Across the Universe'! i'm so excited to take her to this as we are both huge Beatles nerds!
hmph - the word 'hopefully' appears three times right under one another (or at least it does in this draft)
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh - FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND CHRIST AND MOTHER MARY MAKE THAT BEEPING STOP!!!!!

across the universe
words are flowing out like
endless rain into a paper cup
they slither while they pass
they slip away across the universe
pools of sorrow, waves of joy
are drifting through my open mind
possessing and caressing me
images of broken light which
dance before me like a million eyes
that call me on and on across the universe
thoughts meander like a
restless wind inside a letter box
they tumble blindly as
they make their way across the universe
sounds of laughter shades of life
are ringing through my open ears
exciting and inviting me
limitless undying love which
shines around me like a
million suns
it calls me on and on across the universe
